Wheels in the Woods 4 is a universal design nature trail that is designed to be fully accessible for individuals in wheelchairs or who use walkers.  The trail winds through an open meadow where native grasses and abundant birdlife can be found.  The surface of the trail is composed of T-Naps, a new hard-scape material made from natural and recycled products, and a section composed of crushed bluestone.

Major funding for this project came from Don Chiboucas through the Wheels In The Woods Foundation, which is dedicated to funding special needs trails.  Long-term plans are for the trail to be universally accessible to all regardless of age or disability.  Additional donations are needed to complete this project.  Contact us if you would like to help.
