Preschool through 5th Grade Programs

Programs for children in preschool through 5th grade are $15 per class for members and $25 per class for non-members.  Sign up in advance is required. We suggest you sign up at least 24 hours in advance to ensure the class will run. This allows our teachers to prepare supplies.  

All About It - After school nature programs designed for children in preschool.  Program runs on Tuesdays from 4:00-5:00 PM.

Science Fun - This hands-on science program is designed for children in grades K-5.  Your little scientists will perform experiments to learn about roller coasters, floating, ice and so much more.  Not only will they have fun, but hopefully they will develop a life long passion for the sciences.  Program runs on Tuesdays, Wednesdays or Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:15 PM.

Nature Fun - Nature enthusiasts will love learning about animals, weather, plants, ponds and more in this program designed for children in grades K-5.  Program runs on Wednesdays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.

Trail Walk Thursdays - Dress comfortably as you walk the Earthplace trails in this program designed for children in grades K-5.  See all that nature has to offer on our 62-acre wildlife sanctuary.  Program runs on Thursdays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM.

Teen Programs

Animal Tech - After school animal care programs for students in grades 5 to 8.  $100 per session for members, $140 per session for non-members.  Program meets on Mondays from 4:00 - 5:00 PM for 4 classes per session.

Teen Volunteer Club - Volunteer Club is designed for students in grade 8 through 17 years of age.  This new club will give teens an opportunity to provide community service while learning more about nature.  Activities include trail maintenance, exhibit design, animal care and gardening.  The program will meet the first and third Thursday of the month from September through June. 

Junior Staff - Program for junior high and high school-aged children on Saturdays from 10 AM to 2 PM.
