42nd Annual Tropical Fish Show
and
Connecticut Betta Club's Betta Show

The Norwalk Aquarium Society hosted its 42nd annual Tropical Fish Show at Earthplace, which featured a wide variety of tropical fish, such as cichlids, catfish, goldfish and killifish, a novelty tank display, fish photography, and an array of aquarium-related products for sale.  The Club also held an auction of fish and aquarium-related equipment on Sunday.

In conjunction with the NAS all-species show, the Connecticut Betta Club held its International Betta Club-sanctioned Betta Show, which drew entries from all over the Northeast.  The Best in Show award went to breeder Seig Illig from Pennsylvania for his half-moon betta with a blue steel color.  For more information about the Connecticut Betta Club, contact CTBettaClub@sbcglobal.net.
