Earthplace naturalist Becky Newman introduced Maisie, a corn snake, to visitors at one of the typical Critters and Crafts programs held most Saturday afternoons at 2:30 PM. Becky talked about corn snakes and other snakes found in Connecticut, and then she read a story about a snake. The visitors enjoyed decorating and cutting out a snake spiral to hang in their homes. At their leisure, guests could explore the exhibits in Natureplace and visit the many resident animals of Earthplace, including the newest animal, Finnegan, a white domestic rabbit.
