This party was designed for a group of 4 and 5 year olds.  The children went on an indoor scavenger hunt in search of animals inside Earthplace, and then they had the chance to meet an animal up close, in this case an African giant millipede.  Naturalist Becky Newman led the children through two science experiments:  blowing up a balloon without using their breath and creating take-home slime.
